ABOUT ME
I’m a designer, but I’m also a professional overthinker.
I’m Aakanksha, a UI/UX designer with a thing for figuring out why something isn’t working; and then making it work a little better.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked across digital products, websites, and platforms in industries ranging from fintech and edtech to SaaS and civic-tech. My work usually starts somewhere between “here’s what we need” and “we’re not entirely sure yet”, and that’s often where I enjoy working most.
I enjoy being hands-on with the process, from shaping an idea and working through the UX to refining the final interface. I’m always looking to learn, experiment, get better at what I do, and grow into the kind of designer who can take on bigger and more meaningful challenges.
Outside of design, I’m usually reading, listening to music, finding good food, planning my next little escape, or going down a completely unnecessary internet rabbit hole.

Collaborated with clients and developers to refine experiences and bring designs through to implementation.

Designed an entrepreneurship-focused application, shaping its information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces. Created an intuitive product experience that made complex business information easier to navigate and understand.

Designed the Phonofuel website 0→1, shaping the experience from information architecture and content structure to the final interface. Conducted UX analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and create a clear, intuitive user journey.
